A New Chapter in Inclusion: Launch of the Josephian Special Needs Education Desk (ESRAC Center)
Josephian Schools launch the Special Needs Education Desk (ESRAC Center) to support every child’s unique strengths with care and inclusion. Opening 13 Sept 2025 in Dar es Salaam.
At Josephian Schools, we have always believed that every child belongs. For over two decades, our journey in education has been guided by a deep commitment to character building, skill building, experiential learning, and inclusive education.
This commitment has led us to open our classrooms and our hearts to children of all abilities. Through patience, compassion, and professional expertise, we have seen first-hand how children with diverse learning needs can thrive when given the right support, understanding, and opportunities.
It is this journey — filled with countless lessons from our students and families — that has culminated in the birth of the Josephian Special Needs Education Desk, officially registered as an ESRAC (Educational Support Resource and Assessment Center).
Why This Center Matters
For years, we have seen parents searching for answers:
- Why is my child struggling to keep up?
- Could there be an underlying challenge I don’t understand?
- Where can I find the right support, without stigma or judgment?
Our new ESRAC center exists to provide those answers — professionally, compassionately, and with a vision for the child’s future.

- Developmental and educational assessments by trained experts.
- Referrals and counseling services to connect families with the right interventions.
- Practical roadmaps to help every child move forward with confidence.
But beyond services, we offer something deeper: the Josephian way. A way that sees every child’s strengths first, celebrates uniqueness, and builds belonging as the foundation for growth.

This center is not starting from scratch. It is built on years of inclusive education at Josephian Schools — where children with special educational needs have always been part of mainstream learning.

Our Doors Open Tomorrow
The Josephian Special Needs Education Desk officially opens its doors on Saturday, 13th September, 2025.

- Saturdays & Public Holidays: 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Weekdays: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Closed on Sundays
